Sleepwalker Software designs and builds custom systems, integrations, and prototypes for operational, industrial, and government work. We take messy, unusual, or technically difficult problems and turn them into software that ships and runs.
Sleepwalker works across the stack, from a single purpose-built tool to a full operational system. The through-line is engineering: solving a real problem properly, not shipping a template.
Purpose-built applications and platforms designed around how your operation actually works.
Making separate systems, data sources, and hardware work together as one.
Practical AI and automation built into real workflows, not bolted on for show.
Getting from idea to a working system fast, so you can test, demonstrate, and decide.
When a project needs a web presence or interface, we build that too — sites, stores, and web apps as part of the larger system rather than the whole offering.
Sleepwalker's work spans public products and client engagements that cannot be publicly identified. Rather than list only what is safe to name, this is the range of capability the company brings, described at the level we are independently entitled to claim.
Designing and delivering software and integration work across distributed systems, data pipelines, APIs, communications infrastructure, and operational workflows — making separate systems function as one.
Working to technical and operational requirements in defence and government settings, including systems integration, communications, and operational technology. Some of this work cannot be publicly identified.
Building and operating technology where reliability, remote operation, networking, monitoring, and rapid troubleshooting were hard operational requirements rather than nice-to-haves.
Developing software with AI-assisted workflows, LLM integration, automation, data processing, and purpose-built operational tooling — applied to real problems, not demos.
Some client and project work cannot be publicly identified due to contractual, confidentiality, or operational restrictions.
A selection of Sleepwalker products that can be shown openly.
A small community needed a complete local ordering and delivery service, not a generic marketplace listing.
An end-to-end platform: ordering, delivery logistics, tax handling, receipt flow, and full payment processing with refunds.
Rural mail-delivery contractors run their routes on paper and memory, with no reliable tracking or handover.
A GPS route app that turns a daily improvised job into something tracked, repeatable, and transferable between drivers.
An operational problem, an integration, a prototype, or a system nobody sells off the shelf. Tell us what it is and what it's for, and we'll give you a straight read on whether we're the right build for it.
Sleepwalker builds software for operational environments where systems, sensors, and data have to work together reliably. The founder brings direct operational and defence communications background alongside years of full-stack and integration engineering, which shapes how we approach this work.
The kinds of problems we're built to take on:
Need a technical prototype for an RFP, pilot, demonstration, or funding program? Turning a requirement into a working demonstrator quickly is exactly the kind of work Sleepwalker is built for.

You work directly with the engineer responsible for designing and delivering your system. No account managers, no handoffs, no telephone game between you and the code.
Work starts with understanding the problem, then a defined scope and transparent pricing. Fixed-price where it fits, phased or time-and-materials where that's the honest structure.
A modern, accelerated development process means you see working software early in the engagement, with progress demonstrated continuously rather than hidden behind long development cycles.
Fifteen-plus years across software, IT infrastructure, and operational systems. The focus is software that holds up in real use, not just software that demos well.
I'm Jason Taylor, founder of Sleepwalker Software. My background spans full-stack software development, IT infrastructure leadership, and operational communications environments, so I'm as comfortable with operational and defence problems as I am with commercial software.
Sleepwalker exists to take on the problems that don't have a product you can just buy. When you work with Sleepwalker, you work directly with me — the person designing the architecture and delivering the system.
A short note about the problem and what it's for is enough to start. Complex work usually needs a conversation before a real quote — so let's start there, not with a form to fill in.
